Belgium is known worldwide for its beer, but some small, local producers have been experimenting with other alcoholic beverages as well.
Bezegaard is an organic farm that has been producing fruit, jams, grains and turkeys for several years. Recently, they've launched a line organic fruit wine called O'Bio.
The wines are made from a variety of different fruits and berries, currently including: black and white current, raspberry, blueberry, elderberry, cranberry, cherry, quince and seabuckthorn. The flavours range from tart to very sweet and all taste very different from traditional wines.
You can visit the farm, pick your own berries and take a bottle of wine or jam home with you.
