Bedugul is the name used to denote a large mountainous area in the center of Bali Island, developed around the village, in an area of rare natural beauty.
At the center of attention are the three lakes located in craters of Bratan, Buyang and Tamblingan, botanical gardens of Jatiluwih, Candikuning and with its green rice fields by spectacular terraces.
A quite challenging route (about four hours for the ascent and as many for downhill) you reach the Summit of Gunung Catur (2096 m), where the Pure Puncak Mangu, an ancient temple inhabited by monkeys.
From here you can enjoy spectacular views of the cirscostante area.
Bedugul Botanical Garden has a vast area of about 154,5 hectares. In the Bedugul Botanical Garden visitors are not just looking at the various types of plants, but there are also some bird habitat.
