If You Only Have Three Days in Cape Town
Go outside, eat a lot, and plan where you'll be during sunrise and sunset—so that you're somewhere cool to enjoy them. With just three days to explore the Peninsula, you'll want to cover a of of ground. Highlights include: tourist attractions in the city, local cuisine and shopping, a day trip to Cape Point, a township tour, and wine tasting in Constantia.

Modern Meets Tradition in Constantia

Large arrow left

Forget the dimly lit cellar tours and the stacks of French oak barrels. Beau Constantia is unlike the other wine estates I've visited in in Constantia, South Africa's oldest wine valley. The modern cement-and-glass tasting room at this boutique wine farm created an ambiance that felt more like visiting a friend's posh home than a wine estate. My favorite taste was their rosé, which was light and not overly sweet. I'd visit again, especially now that I know they have a spa downstairs.
