Walking towards the gray-colored sandy beach fronting the El Puerto Marina Resort & Spa where I was checked in that Sunday morning, I was not expecting fishermen at all but there they were. There were a few resort guests enjoying the cold sea water but the beach attendance seemed to be more of the fishermen, market vendors, and their support groups (kids, young nieces and nephews). Local residents were there hoping to share in the leftover catch for free. For my breakfast, I ate a deep-fried millkfish. Yum!
