We bought the 3-day pass to visit the temples around Siem Reap, then almost didn't use the 3rd day, because we were pretty much at our max of crowds & heat, not feeling very spiritual any more. We decided to spend the last day at Banteay Srei, much further from town (about an hour by tuk tuk). It was a lovely experience. Driving slowly through the countryside, you get a much better look at the life of typical (rural) Cambodians. The complex is very well maintained, and includes an interesting exhibition about the excavation of the site. It was very quiet, peaceful, & yes, spiritual. I can still hear the traditional music that floated by from just outside the park.
