If you are not looking for a 5 star dining experience and what it experience it the way the locals do, then one meal at a 'Military Hotel' is something you must try. The concept dates back to pre-independence era when meat serving little restaurants needed stand out a bit. It was believed back then that military personnel were the only ones who really needed meat to give them stamina. These tiny hole in the wall spaces have fixed menus, specific timings on when you can get a meal and are not big on great service. But the meal is guaranteed to be a good one.
