Nestled on the Caspian Sea, Baku has a beautiful seafront promenade to stroll on this off the beaten path destination. Baku is called the Land of Fire due it's natural resources of oil and gas. Note the 3 Flame Towers glistening over the city as Baku embraces it's historic past as well as jumping feet first into the 20th century. Arrive at night and the drive from the airport to your hotel on the waterfront and it will take your breath away you and rival Paris, "The City of Light". This photo was taken from our room the new JW Marriott Asheron in Baku and is even more stunning at night.
