Myanmar’s Waterways
Pandaw river expeditions are atmospheric journeys more akin to a floating piece of history than a busy cruise ship. The grand replicas of colonial river steam ships are decked out with comfortable furnishings, finished with brass and teak and drift effortlessly along the major waterways of Southeast Asia taking travelers the scenic way along the Irrawaddy, Chindwin and Mekong rivers. Amazingly, the service is also non-profit, and donates much of its earnings to local charities around Myanmar.
