Pay a Visit to Uncle Ho's House
A pilgrimage to the mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam's revolutionary leader, is an essential part of any Hanoi itinerary. Less macabre, however, is a humble stilt house where he resided intermittently from 1958 to 1969. The house is an interpretation of a traditional Vietnamese dwelling and has been preserved just as Ho left it.
