Locally known as Atlanterhavsparken, this family-friendly destination is one of the largest saltwater aquariums in Europe. Kids can hunt for crabs, feed fish in a touch pool, watch seals being fed or a scuba diving show. Learn more about the deepwater fish in Norway’s fjords that venture near the coast due to this unique geography. There are also walking trails along the coastline, a sandbox with a buried whale skeleton for kids to excavate and opportunities to spot sea lions and dolphins in the waters near the aquarium.
