The Atherton Mill in Charlotte's South End neighborhood is one of my favorite jaunts on a Saturday morning. Home to a number of shops, restaurants, and services, and close to the light rail, I visit the Atherton Farmers Market to stock up on local produce. Pickle connoisseurs, try the tasty half sour dills, or anything really, from Pickleville.
If you're hungry and craving something a bit healthier than barbeque, stop at Luna's Living Kitchen next door to enjoy delicious and beautifully prepared raw cuisine. The Lunasagna, made with zucchini noodles and cashew-basil cheese is one of my favorites. I also can't get enough of Luna's Cacao-Cacao smoothie.
