Experience Artisphere
Housed inside the former Newseum (now in D.C.), Artisphere was designed as a space where people and art collide. With four performance venues, three visual art galleries, a 4,000-square-foot ballroom, and a two-story video wall, this arts center offers programs ranging from contemporary visual art, theater, Shakespeare, and multicultural film festivals to new media, spoken word, chamber music, family programs, and dance—the offerings are as diverse as the audience. Admission to Artisphere and its visual art galleries are free; there are admission fees for ticketed events. Check the website for updates and upcoming events.
