A Foodie Indulging in Sandwich
What better name for a town to draw self-proclaimed "foodies" from the far reaches of the world?! If you are visiting Boston, it is worth the hour drive or train ride south from the city to visit the "oldest town in Cape Cod". Better yet, don't just visit but make yourself at home for a few days in this quaint town! Its charm, history, and beauty will surely have you departing with the desire for just one more day... If you do find yourself needing accommodations in Sandwich, I highly recommend Annabelle Bed & Breakfast. Let me actually rephrase that: You MUST stay at Annabelle!! Never have I stayed at a place overflowing with such warmth, comfort, character, serenity, elegance yet informality, and glorious FOOD. I still have dreams about the breakfasts I savored at Annabelle: chocolate crepes with berries, puffed pancakes filled with apples, raisins, & oats and topped with fresh pumpkin whipped cream, homemade sun-dried tomato sausage, oatmeal waffles with Maine blueberries, peaches, & real maple syrup, crispy bacon, fresh fruit smoothies... After a meal like that, you will be prepared to experience much adventure in Bean Town or the Cape. If you do happen to make it back to Annabelle for a late afternoon nap, upon waking you will be greeted by glasses of wine in the foyer. However, if you have full days of exploring, there is no need to worry. The morning will always bring breakfast!
