Albany Heritage Park

A 259-hectare (640-acre) nature reserve in the center of the city, Albany Heritage Park encompasses Mount Clarence and Mount Adelaide and extends from the port of Albany to Middleton Beach. The park comprises a fascinating mix of historical, cultural and natural attractions, wildflower fields, granite formations and both Aboriginal and European cultural sites, including the Princess Royal Fortress and the National Anzac Centre where multimedia displays recount the experience of the 41,000 soldiers from Australia and New Zealand who fought in World War I.
