One would associate Idaho with.... Potatoes. But there is more to Idaho than potatoes.
One example - house made pasta. Alavita, a sister restaurant to Fork (located next to Alavita), serves amazing pasta and cocktails!
We had the bacon wrapped scallops to start with. After that, I had the Cavatelli (Spicy sausage pasta) while my dining companion had the Squid Ink Pasta. The squid ink pasta was the standout pasta.
My dining companion also had the Barrel Aged Rock + Rye drink which tasted like a sweeter old fashioned.
Overall - this is one of the few standouts in Boise, ID.
