Brunch on Saturday and Sunday
I’ll definitely go back for the roasted potatoes, smoked salmon, olive oil cake and the eggs florentine (aka poached eggs topped with Hollandaise sauce)! Al Vento serves this “European-style buffet” on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — but note: I went there on a Saturday, and the place was packed with hungry, happy diners by 12:30 p.m. This colorful spread of fresh food — there was a decent selection of fruit, vegetables and cheeses when I was there — comes at two price points: $14, with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages (I had orange juice and coffee); and $20, with unlimited non-alcoholic beverages plus as many Bloody Marys, mimosas and screwdrivers as you can handle.
