The Loews Regency San Francisco just announced a program that makes it a holiday destination all on its own. Once a month from now through the holidays, the hotel will bring in notable San Francisco brands, cultural institutions, and organizations for special events at its 40-story-high Sky Deck.

The event, called Culture in the Clouds, aims to bring a behind-the-scenes look at San Francisco’s culture to the hotel. That means opportunities like a Q&A with Ricardo Bustamante, assistant to the artistic director and ballet master of the San Francisco Ballet Company (October 8), and a talk by Ana Chiu and Valerie Santillo, the local designers behind the buzzy womenswear label Kamperett (November 4). The final event of the 2016 season will feature a trunk show by local label Cuyana, where guests will have the chance to purchase the latest items from the brand, plus receive complimentary on-site monogramming (December 9).

If you do book a stay for Culture in the Clouds, make sure to extend it a few days. Thanks to its location in the heart of downtown—and to the fact that it occupies the top 11 floors of San Francisco’s third tallest building—the Loews Regency offers killer views and easy access to shopping and restaurants. Add in the uber-relaxing spa, and the hotel makes for a dreamy escape for vacationers and staycationers alike.
