I love all these hats. When my mother was going through chemo I arranged a "hat drive" for her. Friends from around the US and points further sent her hats so every day she could have a different look. She got quite an assortment! It was the highlight of the day for the staff at the clinic to see what she came in with every day. One of her favorite hats came from a friend who was in the middle of a year in Peru. Apparently it was a "Bachelor" hat. The local indigenous people used the hats to indicate bachelor status and the wealth of that particular eligible man. Mom would have looked great in all of these hats!
