Labor Day Weekend in Vancouver
For a quick visit, this was great. Hubbie's big B-day.
We took the mountaineer train to Whistler. 3.5 hrs each way and a very nice ride. I would suggest Banff or Jasper instead as the scenery is more dramatic. Did the Dinner cruise on the bay, great food, awesome weather, and lots of photo ops. Never did the sea plane ride...but it looked like it would be worth the price. Gas town had some micro breweries and great cocktails and fruity beers! The best I've EVER had!! :-) I really like that thin crust pizza! Our hotel (Pan Pacific) located at a great location close to Stanley Park and the marina. Public transportation easy to find, and get around in.
We enjoyed our stay! Oh, the 90 min massage was great.
