This image shows the gorgeous area of Big Sur from an arial view, which really highlights the topography of the area famous for it's coastal cliffs and ocean view drives. My friends and I come out here once a year to camp at a secluded, hike-in spot directly above the cliffs...the only oceanside site! I highly recommend stopping at Nepenthe, a restaurant about 45 minutes north. Guaranteed beauty, people-watching and sunshine.
