It was wash day for people at the village well. We were headed from Jaipur toward Ranthambore Park (in hope of seeing an elusive tiger) near a junction on the Grand Trunk Road we came upon the village well. Full of activity, some were washing, others were gathering water in jugs. No one who has been to India seems neutral on it. Love it or hate it; I found it teeming with life and fell in love. Have already scheduled my third trip to this marvelous country.
