Vung Tau is a picturesque beach town accessible from Ho Chi Minh City by hydrofoil. The trip takes about 2 hours and is an experience in and of itself. Vung Tau’s coastal roads are best explored by motorbike. Stop for fresh seafood and to watch the fisherman mending their nets along the shore.
