The Lions Gate Bridge connects Vancouver, via Stanley Park, with the lesser-visited North Vancouver. A trip over the bridge is very beautiful, as is visiting the snow-covered mountains on the other side. A trip to North Van should certainly be justified, with Lonsdale Quay, Grouse Mountain, and the Capilano Suspension Bridge at your disposal.
