not your typical place to visit whilst on holidays but this cemetery is actually one of BA's leading attraction. I absolutely loved getting lost in this city of tombs, not knowing what the next corner would bring me. well worth a visit

My wife and I spent almost an entire afternoon in Recoleta Cemetery and didn't even find Eva Peron's tomb until the very end. We couldn't get over the elaborate ornamentation and large sizes of these tombs. Some even had stairwells leading down to another level.
