All over Greece, from every major city to every tiny village, you'll find these kiosk stands selling snacks, drinks, cigarettes, tourist maps, newspapers, magazines, some souvenirs, and whatever else they can get their hands on.

They've been a subject of controversy in some circles due to how the addition of ice cream and drink coolers have made these stands sprawl more and more over public sidewalks, but I can't imagine Greece without them and their convenience.
