Every year in November, the Rhode Island Road Runners Club hosts the Bridge Run: The only chance pedestrians have to run (or walk) over one of the most iconic bridges in New England. The sun rises in your eyes as you charge up the slope at 6:30 in the morning. It is an incredible, once in a lifetime experience with unbeatable views of Narragansett Bay. If you like walking and are in Newport in November, it's a must.
