The lost restaurant: Eden
If you're looking for a wholesome, healthy eatery in Pittsburgh, look no further.
Walk along Shadyside to try scrumptious grapefruit gelato at Mercurio's, shop at the GAP or one of the lesser known and privately owned stores, then find this little hole in the wall to enjoy lunch or dinner.
Eden is filled with raw and vegan dishes to satisfy any yogi or adventurous eater in a casual atmosphere. Waitresses are adorned with tattoos, smiles, and are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with any questions you might have about the food or drinks. Everything at Eden is served raw, and because of its vegan roots, you'll find entrees such as spaghetti made from zucchini and sauces made from raw peanuts. Although, Eden does offer some entrees with local, farm raised produce for those that simply cannot go without.
If you're too indecisive with what to try, Eden offers a sampler that covers every item on their menu. And if you're looking for just a snack, Eden has an assortment of raw smoothies to sip away at.
Tip: Closed on Tuesdays
Tip 2: The Eden menu changes with the seasons. This goes for desserts, as well.
Tip 3: Eden is BYOB
