I woke up early in the morning after a long -really long- train trip from Delhi to Varanasi one night before. Getting to the hotel was a relief but I knew that the next day will be interesting, my friend Ranjan arranged a morning trip to visit the Ganges River, the holiest river for Hindus.
I picked up my camera and my friend did the same. We took a taxi to the ghats, there a person was waiting for us in order to explain the morning bathe ceremony.
We traveler north in a small wood boat trying to get the most of the morning ceremony. We stopped to pick up a cup of tea and returned to the point we began.
This is a must when visiting Varanasi and India.
