When an afternoon walk turned into half a day, there was no way I could make it back to the hotel {believe me when I say I use the term loosely } on foot. The tiny village was much larger than expected. Nothing to do but call in local transportation. Over the rocky road it was definitely an 'are we there yet' moment!
