One of the many night markets in Taipei, prepare yourself to be flooded with sensations. Some people are adventurous eaters, and some aren't. To eat here, you may have to leave some of your preconceived notions behind, and allow yourself to try something new, you'll be glad you did. The Tai folks are pretty down to earth eaters, despite some of the more 'shocking' looking food that us westerners are used to. Try the squid, it's both sweet and chewy, with just a little bit of spice at the end. If you're not feeling quite so adventurous, there isn't a fruit that you can go wrong with, and the locals say that their fruit is grown by the best farmers in the world, which is why it tastes so good.
