I love wine. But, I also love vineyards. I love the bright green leaves; the green, red and purple juicy grapes; but, mostly, I love the symmetry of the rows of grapevines. There is something orderly to it all. And throw in a brightly-colored red barn or house, and it just makes it more interesting. Having been to Oregon a few times, this has to be one of my favorite images of the vineyards. I highly recommend the area around Newberg, Dundee and McMinnville for superb pinot noirs and a very relaxed stay. Take your camera. It is beautiful country!
