Despite all the talk about Japan being expensive, the sushi lunch I got here for 1500 yen (less than $20) included chawanmushi (egg custard with seafood and mushrooms), salad, miso soup AND dessert! Oh, and some of the tastiest sushi I had in Japan. Perfect.
