If you ever go to Guatemala you must go to Antigua which is a UNESCO Heritage Site. Antigua is about 1.5 hour drive from Guatemala City and it's well worth it. The colonial architecture is beatiful and do get lost between the enchanting streets. From here you may visit other sites in Guatemala as there are several tourist agencies that arrange them. Close by you may go to Lake Atitlan and some of the volcanoes.
