Sometimes, you have to be a tourist

I have to admit, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to being called a "tourist". I prefer "global citizen", "traveler", or "cultured", mostly for the sake of feeding my own ego. Though while at Gyeongbok Palace in Seoul, looking at fresh cherry blossoms, wandering the grounds of the rebuilt palace and watching re-enactments of the changing of the guards it was nice to be a tourist. Just to let my willpower buckle and get camera happy like the rest of the people in Seoul on a Saturday afternoon... I guess sometimes the ego can take a break. Just a short one :)
