In the Spring of 2011, we spent an incredible afternoon with a local shopkeeper from Udaipur, India. He brought us to the mountains near the city, where we visited several temples, including this Shiva Temple. The kids there were absolutely ecstatic to see us and our digital cameras. This photo was taken very quickly as they ran circles around us, smiling and giggling. Everytime I see this, it brings me back to that exact moment in time, where I remember clicking my camera and feeling their enthusiastic spirits swirl all around me.
