Wow! What a surprise. I thought it would be interesting, but I mainly headed off Luoyang to the Shaolin Temple, because the friend I was staying with had a lot of work to do that day. I thought I would go and spend an hour--I was so wrong. Aside from the Kung Fu show, I was hooked. There was so much to see--from the statues in the temples, to the pagodas, to the other people who had come, it turned out to be a great day. Several hours later, I tore myself away to get back on the bus to Luoyang, taking with me fond memories of a day well spent.
