"Sandy" Beach
When I first started visiting Barbados 13 years ago, I loved this beach. It was truly sandy, and yes...I hate sand. Still, it was once a long stretch of sand that was about three times the length of what you see here. It was called Sandy Beach because of the "Sandy Beach Hotel" that once ran here. The hotel was sold, failed, and now has a "for sale" sign. The beach has since washed away thanks to mother nature, and I assume developers that never seem to care that what you do to the land can inevitably hurt the surrounding area. Still, I come here to enjoy my Stag (a Trinidadian beer that I still prefer over the local Banks Beer).

And, yes, I too hate sand!
I always go to Worthing to a little spot called Crystal Waters. The beach keeps washing away but I still love it.
