I'd go so far as to say that Ciampini has some of the best gelato in Rome, not Giolitti, which is just okay. However, I haven't tasted all the reputable gelato in the city so I can't say Ciampini is *the* best! Hopefully I'll get to make a comprehensive gelato crawl someday...
