Paris Doorways
I sometimes do these little photo projects or “photo safaris” if you will. While in Paris I kept noticing all these brilliantly colored and textured doorways that really caught my eye. I started shooting everyone I saw and came up with a bit of a theme of doorways. I had a few interspersed in my previous post about Paris – but I singled out a few other ones and here they are – just a few. I encourage everyone to do this type of mini project – it helps see the world in new ways and thread together commonalities as well as appreciate differences.

The next time I'm in Paris I'll keep an eye out for these details! Any district in particular travelers should look for doors like these? I tend to do the same thing when taking travel photos- I'll notice some detail and it becomes a major theme in my trip. Thanks for sharing!
@Allison - thanks for the comments! This was all taken in central Paris and basically in and around various central districts. I'd say really though anywhere you can find interesting doors so definitely would not limit that to specific areas. I really enjoyed doing this and wish I had thought of more little themes on the same trip, but will do next time.
good luck!
I've done hundreds of windows, all over the world. The best series I took was in La Antigua, Guatemala, 3 years ago.
