I love a store that has it all, especially when shopping for souvenirs. For visitors to Philly, there is no better place for one-stop shopping than the Pennsylvania General Store, located in the Reading Terminal Market. From Amish quilts to fresh fudge, unique Philly and PA food items and locally treasured Asher’s chocolate-covered pretzels. Fresh-baked Hope’s cookies and tins of award-winning Rosie’s butterkins (yummy butter cookies). Soft pretzel T-shirts. City of Brotherly Love shot glasses. Magnets, postcards, and souvenir coffee mugs from Intercourse, PA (yes, that’s a real town in Lancaster County).

There, you have your shopping list, now get started! My personal favorites are the amazing Urban Garden Chocolate Bars, made by Philadelphia chocolatiers John & Kira’s, featured in Gourmet Magazine and unlike any chocolate you’ve ever tried. Expensive, yes, but worth every penny. You only live once!
