San Gimingnano is an old Etruscan walled town that is famous for their white wine, Vernaccia di San Gimingnano and their town center gelateria, Gelateria di Piazza San Gimingnano.
This mid-spring view over looking the Tuscan land scape is what will forever be engraved in my mind as the heart of Italy. Though this is Siena's land, and as a Florentine local I should be loyal, I have to admit to the breath taking beauty as there is no filter on this photograph. From the top of this 3rd century wall, I feel on top of the world.
