This wax display attempts to capture the suffering of the South Korean people during the active fighting years of the Korean War. This museum is not to be missed - it offers everything from live black and white footage of the war to real airplanes surrounding the front of the museum! Insider's Tip: If you love wax displays like this one, visit any of the folk museums, which are usually un provincial capitals. And my favorite wax displays are at the Korean Museum of Independence (don't remember the exact name) outside Cheonan and the Gwangju Folk Museum, where I saw a wax replica of turtle soup!
