... but a mini version of it. Bavaria's King Ludwig II certainly did have a passion for the extraordinary just like King Louis the XIV. He build the famous Neuschwanstein Castle that served as a model for the the Walt Disney Castle and the castle you can see in the photo above the Royal Palace, putting the king in high debt.

The death of the Ludwig II is to this date surrounded by mystery and if you want to learn more about that mystery, there is a special exhibition at the Royal Palace until October 16th, 2011. I complete got sucked into this exhibition as you learn about Germany's history as well.
