Rarotonga, Cook Islands has many spectacular beaches, but most stunning oasis has to be Muri Beach. There are three motu (small islands) just off shore and the sand is soft and white. There is great snorkeling and small stands selling refreshments and loaning chairs to paying customers. You can rent a car for pretty cheap in the Cook Islands and circumnavigate Rarotonga in a leisurely hour and a half, so Muri Beach can be reached with little effort.
