ITALY HOTLINE
This summer via Sienna Reid (founder of Italy Hotline) she organized a tour for me and some friends throughout one of the oldest neighbourhoods of Rome – Rione Monti. We visited a Small Luxury Hotel of the World that houses Roman ruins with engravings that date back over 2,000 years ago. We had special access as this stone gallery is not open to the public. We then proceeded to the terrace of the 9-suite hotel, with incredible views of the Colosseum and Roman Forum – once again off limits unless you’re a guest. The evening ended at the the penthouse apartment of Sienna whom is also an artist - so you can imagine the magical and vibrant ambiance. There we had a wine and food tasting by a professional cook and sommelier ... which was was accompanied by candle light, breathtaking views, and an unexpectedly gorgeous sunset. Ive lived in Rome for almost 3 years and had never been exposed to such history and beauty! I highly reccommend reaching out to Sienna so she can create a similar experience for you.

I lived there last fall, but in Centro Storico. I am so excited to return and explore Monti and more of that area! Any other staples you would suggest? It also says you live in Rome! I have my own favorite restaurants, but what are yours?? Isn't Roma wonderful? I just cant get enough of it.
