During Robin's visit to the Muslim village on Pulau Maselembo, in the middle of the Java Sea between Bali and Borneo, she came upon this informal classroom scene in the afternoon.

It seems from the two remote Muslim villages we visited in Indonesia, they are, but most of our interactions were limited to mutual fascination. The two island villages we visited are virtually never visited by Westerners.
