A former BVG workshop has turned into a cultural center; the little house, where the gatekeeper used to watch the incoming vehicles from, has become a relaxed place for good food. Tip: order muesli for breakfast and then come back in the evening with friends for some local beer and the superb cheese platter. You will be sitting on a discarded public bus, looking onto industrial workshops and brick walls everywhere, a parking lot and an oversized entrance way. One could start to visualize a bunch of workers walking back into the building to wash engines and fix demolished rail vehicles. Instead you will meet artists, dance students or an international crowd.
