"Hey man, come get the sheep penis!"

My dad swung his camera around, but the vendor had already dropped out of site, sheep penis or whatever it was sizzling in a wok in front of him. My dad picked up one of the skewers and vendor returned.

"Ten dollars, sheep penis! You pay me now!"

This and other hilarious eating events characterized a trip to Beijing with my father - Peking duck liver and feet, bugs of all sorts and dumplings made from cow brains.
