Panthea Residences was my savor. Initially booking a "private bungalow" at the trashy Paradise Beach Resort, having a run in with a furry spider the width of a 2x4, and having to deal with a man yelling at me as I stop at nothing to cancel my stay, was a anxiety inducing first few hours in Mykonos. In the mists of all that, I got to the internet cafe and book a room on the opposite side of the island, which I will soon find out would provide me with the relief I needed and the view I didn't deserve.
When first opening up my back doors to see this view I started to cry. I haven't work long enough to deserve something of this beauty but I knew someone who had. I immediately got on Skype and showed my Mamma what I wish she was seeing in person. She cried too as we counted our blessings and signed off with a kiss. I never knew that a temporary place to stay would provide me with so much relief in the form of clean sheets and blue waters.
