At first glance it can be easy to assume the only place to get coffee in Indianapolis is Starbucks. Look a little harder and you'll find several excellent independent coffee shops. The standout among them is Hubbard and Cravens. HC sources and roasts its own coffee from small producers and emphasizes fair trade. Even better, their coffee is consistently excellent, as the mob of locals who fill their 49th and Penn cafe each morning would certainly attest.
